How do you make Outlook recieve your new emails as soon as you start it? you know, like outlook express does. I have looked all over and haven't found this option in Outlook.....thanks for the help

Simply go to Tools, Options, then to the Mail Delivery tab.

Hopefully, clicking on "send messages immediatly when connected" will do it.
Or, click on "Check Messages Every", and define a time like 1 minute or something, so it'll keep checking.

I dunno....under tools>options and the mail setup tab, there is an option to send immediately when connected, that is checked.....not sure what else it would be.
