FX or X2?

yes the fx60 is on AMD roadmap for early next year and the 512mb 7800 will be here by 7th , hopefully with a 430mhz core and 1500mhz memory (increased bandwidth to give ATi a good ol kick up the rear again.
 
It won't be 7800GTX's, that's for sure. It's most likely going to be in the 8x00 series for nVidia.
 
GDDR4, FX-60, and XDR are all the latest and greatest stuff coming out early next year. Can't wait for someone to use that in their next build. You mean the x800 series? They are all PCI-e cards.

he just made a gues. But most likely the next cards that come out from nvidia are either new versions of the 7800GTX or then some new models, which would be the 8x00 series (x = unknown), this just because it goes like that, the bigger the number the newer the card. And yes, most likely they will use pci-e.
 
This is going to be so much fun as we all wait in suspense to see what Nvidia's got up its sleeves. GDDR4 looks promising but hopefully (available second half of 2006), something will come out sooner than that.
