If you're an avid P2P user like I am I'm sure you've heard of WinMX. It is just a flat out Peer to Peer program. None of those fancy graphics, Web Browsers you dont need, If you dont want to share a folder, You unshare it. You dont have to cut off an arm and a leg, melt them into some fancy key, just so you can keep your files to yourself lol
Now. What happened? It's gone. You cannot connect to it anymore. When they stopped it kept running with those of us that could support it... But now it wont even connect to those users!
You can get some info from Slyck here

Sure, We have Warez, Limewire, KazaaLite, But I liked WinMX was the best. If you used it, sure there was a chance you'ld download a virus, But thats expected with P2P programs. If you're gonna use them I think you need to actually be intelligent enough to protect yourself instead of relying on these "user friendly" ones that have built in scanners that slow the stuff so you cant download as fast as You want! WinMX was sweet if you knew how to work it right
