400w Psu With Old Motherboard

does any one know if a 400w psu will work with an old pentium 2 motherboard

As far as having enough power, it does. But why stay with a pentium II, they are very slow and MOBO's are cheap today.

That would be an AT form factor motherboard, wouldn't it? You'd have to get an older power supply for that. They had a bunch of crazy connections, too.

itll fit as long as its a 20pin socket psu. just count the pins on ur powersupply and make sure its 20 and not 24.

Whoa. I've never seen a slot-based motherboard before. I was like wtf does the processor go?! Hehe, but yeah, it looks like it has a standard 20-pin ATX power connection. If your power supply has 24 pins, you can get a converter for quite cheap. Otherwise, if it just has 20 pins, it should work fine.
