I need help

Hi all,

I would like to ask if there is anyway of running a DVD on your HDD as if it was on a DVD. When i use dvd decrypter to save the dvd on my hdd, loads of different files ending in IFO and VOB appear. If there is a way could you please tell me, and try to make it simple because i am a noob with computers.

By the way extra information that i can give is that i have dvd shrink, nero aswell as dvd decrypter.

What program do you use to watch DVDs?

I either use power DVD or windows media player.
I also have a virtual cd (daemon) program which i thought might work but i cant find a way to make it work. Maybe there is another virtual cd/dvd program that might work.

If all your files are in one folder here's what to do:

Open powerDVD

On the control panel (where you can press play etc), under the '?' button there is another button. When you put your mouse over it it says 'Select Source'. Click it

Select 'Open DVD files from Hard Disk Drive'

Locate the folder with all the DVD files in

It should only show IFO files so double click on it (if there are more than one IFO file just take your pick)

Hopefully the DVD should play
