Are brandless computers any good? If so or not.. What's the best compatabile CPU?

I think he means there's like a Processor forum on here for that. Brandless computers are generally called "clones". They are IBM-Compatible PCs that are soooo widely used. Intel and AMD are both common CPUs with AMD being the premier processor now. They are currently number one and will hopefully stay that way. Great for gaming and multitasking.

AMD has the Athlon 64 and the Athlon 64 X2 CPU. The X2 being the more expensive dual core CPU which is excellent on multitasking and does a great job in gaming. There's the AMD Sempron (64-bit) but they're geared for budget users. Another high performance chip is the expensive Athlon 64 FX series CPU. They cost just as much as the top of the line Athlon 64 X2 CPU. I'll take the dual core any day though.
