Alright, heres my problem. A couple of days ago I had to reinstall windows (xp.) When i did i got raped by spyware and dcom exploit and LSASS thing and everything. After having windows reinstalled for about 10-15 mins my internet stops working. So i burn sp2 to a cd and install that with still no luck. I also put on avast!, microsoft antispyware and Outpost firewall and a few xp security patches. After scanning my computer and removing some viruses and adware I still can't connect. I manually deleted and fixed a bunch of registry settings as well. When I look at my LAN it says I am sending and recieving packets normally, i know it's not a problem with my isp and when i check ipconfig I have an IP, i did the winsock xp fix thing and still nothing. When i open up ie or maxthon it gets froze at detecting proxy settings for about a minute or so then it just says the page is unreachable. I have no idea what to do now, please, please help me
