Big problem

Well, as many of you know my current build short-circuited. My powersupply has a protector agaisnt that but the mobo is dead. Do you think it proteched everything else like the ram? I had 2 gigs of geil ram, evga 7800gtx, and and amd 3800 dual core

It's hard to say. Get a new motherboard first and use the other components from your previous build to see if they're good or not.

My last computer died the same way, the only thing ruined was the mobo and cpu.
