Laser Printer Brother vs. Brother?

Im looking to buy a black and white laser printer for home/student purposes.
here are two models that i selected:

is it worth spending the $40 more dollars to get the newer model? i dont really see anything better in the $219 model? Does anybody know something about these or other models I should consider for a $150-$250 budget.

I would get the cheaper one. It looks like it can spit out more page per minute than the more expensive one. They are almost exactly the same.

older one, but id get a lexmark, hp, or cannon

scrap Lexmark. They're good quality, but catriges are overpriced. HP isn't worth it. epson...well...it's a bit cheaper than cannon, but does the job. Go with Canon

I still have my HL-1020 Laser printer with a dead drum...how pathetic
