Which place is good for moving?

Id say austraila, they never get into wars and stuff lol, and it was voted the country most similair to the US.

Australia has a lower cost of living and a higher standard of living than the UK.

However, it's not unusual to have to proove that you have an essential skill to emigrate to australia...

in the last place I worked there was a software developer who wanted to move to Australia, however he found as a nurse his wife could go, but as an IT professional with 15 years experiance in the software development industry, he wasn't considered as having an essential skillset.

In order to move he had to re-specialise in his old inductry, (engineering/machining).

Emigrating is never as easy as it sounds... butgiven the choice, I think Australia is best...

That could work for me...with a crap load of money....like $500 000 at least.

Do they speak English there?

No astronimical taxes

Umm, the UK has both of those I'm afraid.

The UK is a wonderful country, it has a great heritage and its own way of doing things that is truly unique, but it does get a little boring and samey.

I toyed with the thought of emigrating after graduation to Canada or the US (I've got relatives in both, so getting sponsored for citizenship isn't a problem), but I'm not sure whether or not I'm sick of the UK (which I think I maybe am, these days).

The UK is an expensive country to live in, it really is. And as 135791 says (although a bit racist), the immigration issue is out of control - they get benefits that we should be getting.

Also in the UK we have unemployment benefits (the dole). This basically means our taxes pay for chavs to be antisocial and do nothing all day except drink cheap booze and cause trouble.

So no, I don't think the UK is all it could be. But I love this country dearly, it would be very hard to emigrate.

Dont move to Australia..seriously... Go to UK! If you could..

Just because Aust dont get into wars and stuff doesnt mean they wont! I mean, its great that they havent *so far* ..
..Dont get me started of Mr johnny howard..please!

If you do move to Aust tho, dont come to Vic, go to QLD, its TEH BEST..i went there for a hoil last month(first proper time outta Vic) and i did not want to leave, its a beautiful place, there beaches and places to go, i went to the Gold Coast and the theme parks :p heh sooo much fun!...and WOW..the sights and all is just amazing! o yeah a good looking girls for ya ;) ..and guys..he
:( Lovely place to live im sure! Very very hot too, but its another great thing, and petrol might be cheap(er) it deppends what we find when we went(we drive alll the way from vic to QLD) and its cheaper up QLD than vic maybe coz of the vapor from the heat you get in QLD to vic, pretty sure..

Vic, sure its got melb, and thats really about all..and its hard to get a jobs coz i got family who have trouble finding a good job and all. Tho..I.T computers is good, BIG selection, so its pretty easy if you want to get into the computer field..heh thats why im moving to the right places when i get 2-3 more years older :D what fun..

house costs and peaceful..that..well it really deppens on what area :\ and you better hope you do choose best area in vic(or anywhere in the world really) coz its pretty bad some place and you dont need that on your worries...{i did grow up in the 'getto' heh not a pretty site... :| meh you win some you lose some..Its about learning..}

I'd go to the US if I were you

If you live in canada, i'd doubt youd want to go to the U.S to live.

Ihuser..if you looking for a small quiet area, with nice, cheap houses maybe moving into the country areas around Toronto. So peaceful, the scenary is beautiful and the houses are AMAZING. And i heard they're really cheap, compaing with the City. Besides, you can like about a half hour, or might a bit longer from Toronto.
