Could some one please tell my why Windows Media player will not stream? I have a 1mb ADSL connection that i use with a netgear wireless router. Quicktime works fine but meda player does not. Also Media player seems to think i have a very slow conection, sub 256k?

Go to Tools/Options/Performance Tab and choose Connection Speed. Then pick one of the DSL/Cable rate.
