I get this error when i try to validate windows....

when i go onto the microsoft site to deownload microsoft spyware i use the validation tool and i get this error whenever i try to click on it.

Looks like the OS on your laptop is a crack version. Everytime you get something validated from Microsoft's website, they check your OS to see if it is valid. I'm using a crack Windows XP Pro and mine fails all their validation attempt. My laptop on the other hand is legal in every way so I got the Microsoft Antispyware. Just can't get it for my Desktop PC.

its not cracked i have the key on the bottom of the laptop the os came pre isntalled lol

How long have you had the PC? If it's under warranty still, go back to the store where you got it from and tell them they didn't do it right. Maybe they'll just do a complete system restore or reinstall of Windows.

Yeah, its somehow not been validated right then, so the only way you can install updates is through Auto Update, and you shouldn't have to do that.

Take it back, and get them to check it out. They obviously missed a step.
