good CPU?????

is this a good CPU to replace on a HP Pavilion xt953..original cpu was a intel celeron 800mhz...any feedback is appreciated

Also, I don't think you'll really see much difference with such old hardware. 800 to 1100 Mhz isn't that great a jump, chances are you won't notice much depending on the age of your RAM and motherboard.

if it's the same socket, which I asume it is, but I'm not a big intel guy right now it should be just fine.

well I wouldn't bother getting a new cpu for that computer.
It won't improve the performance much, and u can check ur email etc just aswell with the old cpu.
