What are people's views on the best Free C# compiler?

There's Microsoft's Visual C# 2005 Express Beta, which is free (the full version will cost about £60).

As for free ones, there are some, but I can't remember them off hand. Try Google.

The one you get with Windows Or yeah, Visual Studio Beta 2, that has all the tools and stuff too but if you were looking for just the compiler, you already have one. I can't remember the exact Run command... check it out on the MSDN Website.
