It's in it's 16th edition because it's so good. it's bin around since the "beginning",lol. the author (Scott Mueller) usally releases one every year to keep it up to date. He late this year but i have already bought the 16th and will buy the 17th when it comes out. the 16th edition is getting a little out of date but most of the stuff in the book never really gets out of date because the techknowlogy(Bad spelling, lol) has changed but the basics of it has stayed the same.

One of the reasons i love this book is because it simple enough to read and not get a headache but if you want the deep info about computers it's there.

if you have never bin on a computer i would recromend this book to you and if you have already gone through university and think you know everything about computers i would recromend this book to you still.

One really weird thing i found in it and i know nobody else knows this is that on average every 3 months you get one computer error from a cosmic ray. This isn't a joke. He goes into details about how this was discoverd.

This book is full of real hardcore info but it also has a lot of cool things like that, lol.

So i say again BUY THIS BOOK!

I actually considered buying this book one time, but didn't really seem to get it... but maybe when they release the 17'th edition I'll buy it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey, that looks like a nice book! I'll look into it once the newest edition is released.
