I found this old computer and i want to get it up and running. But when i started it it says it can't find a keyboard and doesn't move any further then that. I have a USB keyboard but i don't have a ps/2 connector. Is there a way around this?? i think this is default in Bios but i have no way in to getting into bios...

maybe it's just me but let me say what i think you mean.

You have a USB keyboard that isn't being reconized at bootup, and you can't use a ps/2 keyboard becasue your motherboard doesn't have a ps/2 connecter slot?

No there is a PS/2 slot but i don't have the adaptor just wounder if there was a way around that???

Not trying to change the subject, but I thought it was kinda weird that while I was reading this, my USB to PS/2 converter was right in front of me. Anyway, you can get one pretty inexpensively. Check out a local electronics store.
