first off, are either of the vid cards below good for playing those games?

if they aren't good, then what is a good video card i can get that is $150 or less, can play these games with high setting, ect.., and that has sli and pci - e?

thanks for the help

yes, go for the 6600GT, and i said in another post, BF2 loves RAM, 2GB of RAM seems to be the magic number for BF2. But any other games, 1GB is plenty.

yeah 6600GT is the choise for $150. Not sure if u can max out the settings in fear and get a good fps but u will be able to play it well with 6600GT.

but i have pci -e for my mobo, and all the 6600gt's that i have seen are only 128mb. i plan to get 2 6600gt's. will this be worse if they are only 128mb, instead of 2 256mb?

The 6600Gt has "DDR3" memory in it. Which is much, much faster than whats in the bog standard 6600. So two 128mb 6600GT's would run faster than two 256mb 6600's

ok, also what does opengl 2.0 and directx 9 mean in a vid card description?

also, is 60fps good? what is average fps?

DirectX allows programs to interface with and use built in high speed 3D graphic routines on graphic cards for faster processing.

OpenGL is a method for rendering 3d images. GL stands for Graphics Language.

Basically the graphics card manufacturer is telling you that its compatible with the latest versions of these two programs!

I'd get 2 of the 1st one. It's over $100 cheaper and then u can raid 0 them so they will be even faster.
