how loud does a fan really get though? i mean i can stand my fans going at like 3000rpms and not really care. o and is the zalman 92mm ball bearing copper fan loud just out of curiosity? im gonna buy that one.

no its a friggin zalman theyre made to be silent, and perform well.

fans can get pretty damn loud, i have a friend whose rig is soo pimped out, and has soo many different kinds of fans in there, it literally sounds like a vacuum cleaner, or a jet engine, every time u turn it on. (not an exaggeration)

And if you're going to get a high performance heatsink/fan, don't skimp on the thermal paste. Artic Silver 5...
