Just wondering, cause if they did, then I guess you could get a considerable benefit from going with a 400MHz Bus Dothan over a 533MHz one.

all that asus say about the p4p 800 is:

DDR400 (PC3200), the latest and fastest DDR memory standard, supports bandwidth up to 3.2GB/s to provide enhanced system performance.
woz

how is DDR400 the fastest DDR? its not. IT IS THE FASTEST DDR THAT JEDEC APPROVES OF. But the fastest DDR is DDR500.

Yeah, I seen the benchmarks, Dothan gets served pretty bad by Sonoma, but I was just curious.

Do the LV and ULV PM's not support DDR2 either? Cause I would think they would, being meant for ultraportables.

Well, it did say 'standard', sooo...

And I seen DDR650 modules around.

Anyway, don't matter, cause DDR400 have the lowest latencies, so it evens out to some extent.

not really, DDR500 has the lowest latencies if you want to pay the price that is 2-2-2-5@DDR500 (stock by the way)
