Reformatting with an Asus A8V-E Deluxe

Hey ppl,

Im trying to reformat my pc but recently heard that with my Asus A8V-E Deluxe i need to install my VIA RAID drivers before my windows OS system. I'm not sure how to do this and i dont want to go experimenting and nackering my computer up, a little help would be much appreciated if somebody would take me through it. I have the drivers already on the manufacturers cd but i can also download the latest drivers from the Asus website and burn them onto disc.. would i be able to install the drivers from a CD or would I have to use floppy disc (bearing in mind if the drivers wont fit onto a floppy disc).

*assuming you are installing xp*
when you first start the installation of xp, it will tell you to press a key to install any 3rd party raid or scsi drivers down at the bottom of the screen, this is what you want to do. install the drivers and you should be all set.
