Is there anything I can add to make this system faster & better for under $100 ??

it looks like you are buying this as a package. if your hard drive has not got a partition, i would probably buy a cheap one to use for backing up your valuables. if you ever have to re-format, you can just put anything you want on that hdd and then move it back after re-format.
woz

If you're not going to be gaming, I suggest buying a small backup hard drive for the essential things that need to be stored. If you like to do casual gaming, then 512mb should be fine in most cases. If you're more for the hardcore online games like Battlefield 2, F.E.A.R., Half-Life 2, Doom 3 etc, then you should get another stick of 512mb.

battlefield 2 loves 2GB of RAM even if it is value RAM, other games only need 1GB
