Is it legal to use the mp3/video search and download songs that way?

no.. it's not leagal to download any material covered by any copyright agreement without first satisfying the terms of that copyright agreement...


In the case of MP3s / Videos, the terms of the agreement is that you pay for them.

Yeah copyrights don't last forever. They have a time limit. That's how Jackson was able to get all the Beatles songs. When they expire a lot just go in to the public domain or they're placed there by the song writer. So yeah you can grab a truckload off the internet. You just have to know how to find them...

Yeah, I used that search engine when I used to have my 56k modem.

Its kewl that you can download legal mp3's though. Might be some good stuff of artists that haven't got big in the market yet, and want people to test out they're stuff.
