That should shave off $700+ off of that purchase. You may get a dropoff in performance, but it's still quite a performer.

The dropoff wouldn't be noticable anyways...

The Abit Fatal1ty board is OC crazy and with the ultra low latency of the Geil ONE RAM at DDR600 and the 4800+ X2 Toledo core, that is one fast system. It would have to be noticeable with certain applications.

ah well now that i know that there is better stuff i might as well just get it, i mean after spending 3000, another 500 wont be too bad!

oh and with using my current keyboard etc.. my sister will be taking over this pc so she will be using the keyboard and mouse!

By the way Natalya, you're going to have to change that RAM. Not compatible. Use the Geil ONE:

That computers looking amazing by the way!... makes my computer look like a prehistoric dinosaur.
Well its not that bad, but if you check the Performance Test 6.0 thread in the Computer section at the top, you'll see my computers not performing as well as it should.
Post in there once you've built it. I'd like to see how that does, hehe.
