this isnt set in stone, still lookin at options but id just like everyone .02 please. and some recommendations for other parts. and i think i totally missed some parts in general.
EDIT ahh i ruined the links, hold on a couple more mins.
EDIT2 ok that should work now :)

Um, the OS? I hope you have the keyboard and mouse and speakers... other than that.... looks good. also don't forget a sound card...

well we have all that stuff im just talkin about hard ware. and im trying to keep is kinda cheap but still being able to game on it. so thats where there is no sound card.

is there anything else i could do to make it cheaper but still be able to play games like hl2 and wow with out any lagg? and the person that wil have this comp has dsl

Well... the 6600gt is a good enough... you should be perfectly able to play this game at 1024x768 at perfectness... with no lag or anything... maybe even 1280x1024... I'm not really sure for the 6600gt but for me and my x800 that's what I can play at and I'm fine... no lag at all...

Yea, I know that the 6600gt isn't far behind the X800, and i can play HL2 maxed out, at 1280x1024 with 4x aa and 4x af. So you should be able to play it.
