Ah, ok. Well then, here is probably the best card at that budget level. This should play ANY game with relative ease and good FPS.

It might not be the video card making the online games lag though. If an oppentent seems to be jumping around the screen, or standing stil, for example, this could be something to do with their or your internet connection being too slow to handle the dat fast enough.

Most online games have something caled a "Ping" chart, and this tells you how fast your internet connection is compared to everyone else. The higher, the worse, and the Lower, the better.

Would this be a good deal, compared to my ATI RADEON9200SE?

6600 is an ok card. I don't know the exact prices but £50 aint bad.
U should be able to play the newest games with it, but prolly not with the best graphics settings.

You'll see a big increase in performance. Runs very close to your budget but may go over a bit. For the performance you're getting, it's a great card.
