Good gaming comp?

hey i was wondering if this setup can handle newer games like battlefield 2 and doom 3

AMD Athlon 1600+(old)
512 ram
Apollo 6800 128 Geforce 6800 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card

So could i play those games with a decent framerate on medium-high settings?

An Athlon XP 2600+ would do b/c The Athlon are discontinued, so as Tthe AMD Athlon XP...just try to find one

are you going to be buying that graphic card? you should be sure your MOBO(motherboard) will be able to support it.

i don't think you CPU will be able to play any newer games.

dont think thats gonna play much. if anything just get a new power supply mobo and processor and u would be fine.

i bet that could play it although you would prolly have a frame rate of like 26, and you would need to be on low to medium settings.
