im using a cyrix processor and want to upgrade to intel thats why i want to buy the motherboard with cpu combo

Wow, a Cyrix. Haven't heard of that in a long time. I can give you some suggestions on motherboard and CPU combo. You may need a new power supply though because I doubt the same power supply that is powering your Cyrix system will be able to power newer boards.

It is because Cyrix was purchased by AMD a while ago. Indeed, Cyrix chips are LOW WATTAGE TECHNOLOGY, your powersupply will be inadequate.

Cyrix is like VIA...they're both good CPUs... besides the RISC ones
