I've seen quote dictionaries before. They basically list all of the quotes you could think of and list all sorts of information like where it started, who coined it, when, how, et cetera. Maybe try finding one of those.
i say the "ass" out of "u" and "me" every time someone says assume,lol. I have no clue where that saying came from. i would think it would be from a very old movie(or something like that) because i know a lot of older ppl(no offence) that say it.
