As some of you know I'm building a new gaming rig with the BFG 6800 GT OC edition and I lost the driver instalation cd!
I know there has to be a way to download the drivers then put them on cd again, but I'm lost and don't want to wait for tech support.
If any of you can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Deepthroat

Windows should have a basic driver to install for it so you can see waht your doing then just go to the update driver for it and it should work fine.

the only driver CD you don't want to loose is your MOBO CD if you have intergraded ethernet port for internet. if you don't have the internet you can't update the internet driver, lol.

Thank you for your help guys, and I'll let you know how everything goes.
I just ordered my ASUS A8V Deluxe Socket 939 Mobo and paired it with the AMD 64 4000+ 2.4 GHz socket 939(2000MHz FSB)1 MB L2 Cache

I'm so excited about this new rig I'm building, but there is one problem, with all the case choices out there I don't know what to decide on!LOL

I'm looking for good thermal design with side window for around $135

Do any of you know what kind of performance I can expect on this system?
ASUS A8V Deluxe Socket 939 Mobo K8T800 pro chipset
AMD 64 4000+ 2.4 GHz socket 939(2000MHz FSB)1 MB L2 Cache
2x1024 MB sticks of GEIL PC 3200 400 MHz in dual channel mode(2 gigs)
BFG 6800 GT OC edition video card
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Gamer PCI Sound Card
160 GB Maxtor Diamondmax 10 ATA133 16 MB buffer
Ultra modular 500 watt power supply
10/100/1000 Gigabit LAN card
Windows XP pro

First off, your name is disgusting.. oh God.... oh well...

Secondly, that is a pretty good PC.

Thirdly, yes, I can recommend a nice case for you. Try these three on for size:

(The one above comes in Silver, Red, Green, and Blue as well)

u might as well download them cause u r gona have to learn how to some day because u have to update them u know...

His question was already answered above by Wombat. NVidia released the 78.01 drivers now, so update if you haven't. Curse my 4500s... they are acting up a bit from the new drivers.

Are the Quadro's good for gaming? Or do you just use them because you don't game? Oh btw, is your GeIL RAM the ones with the CAS Latency 1.5-2-2-5?

He's running on 2 for the CAS because it's a DDR500. Good overclocker for RAM. The DDR400's have the lower CAS latency.

I believe Opteronix is the first person I associate with (on here) that has a Quadro card. Everyone else has like a 6600-7800GTX cards. Quadro's anti aliasing is very impressive compared to the 6800GTs though.
