Does anyone know an easy and (hopefully) free Linux backup utility?
Let me explain what I'm trying to do. I have a dedicated server, and I'd like to upgrade from PHP4 to PHP5. I attempted it when I first got the server. I've upgraded PHP before, but never on a server with Plesk. I got really confused, and I screwed it up so badly that I had to do a clean install. Now, I'd like to try again with PHP, and also upgrade a couple other things, but I'm very afraid that I'll do the same thing I did last time. And this time, the server is actually in use so I can't afford to do a clean install.
What I'd like is a backup utility that will allow me to back up everything (literally). Files, settings, EVERYTHING.
So, does anyone know something like this?
