forgot my windows 2000 pro password

i had the computer few years ago, i reformatted and deleted the partition on it. it was now completely empty! i installed windows 200 pro on it and it is asking for name and password to get onto the desktop! i do nt know what to enter, can some1 please tell me how to by pass it, im stuck, i need my pc asap!! the partition installed on is NTFS, Please help asap!! many thanks

Here's how:

When Windows boots, Press F8 and login as Administrator. Then look for your name and account and delete it. Create a new one. Your done!

If you get a program called you can make that bootable off a floppy.

You can use that to reset the Admin password, allowing you to log in as Administrator. From there, you have complete control over the system, you can modify accounts and reset passwords for any other accounts that may have appeared on the system for some reason.
