Recently, I am getting these spam e-mails about child/kiddie porn and I have never visited any kind of site with this material ever! I am just getting really sick and pissed off because my ISP is like we work to rid you of spam.

Some great work they do when I am getting this garbage.

1) Suscom (I use the e-mail account and my sister uses the cable modem now since I moved to my Dad's)

2) No, I have not. I'm afraid they will think I am some pervert or something.

EDIT: When I first saw the e-mail I was like is it what I think it is, clicked it and read the text inside the e-mail and deleted it just to make sure it was what it said.

There was a link but didn't click it.

I updated the filter as well to see if this stops it.

Well bear in mind how illegal it is....I would report it to your ISP like straight away before you get done...

I agree with going ahead and reporting it to your ISP.
Your mistake was opening the mail to start with. The mail has a hidden trigger that tells the sender you read it. By opening the e-mail you confirmed your address is a valid working address and now you see what the results are. Spammed to the max.
This is the MAIN reason you DON'T open junk mail.

you havnt posted your email address on any forums have you?, if so thats most likely how they picked up your address, they use bots like google bots etc but they dont index pages they index emails posted on sites/forums the main thing they look for is the @ so always replace it with something like [at]

Well, I had to open it either way to foward the message to the ISP guys.

But, I opened and took a screen shot of the e-mail and sent it to them.

I stand on my grounds that I am no god damn pervert going to sites viewing sick stuff like that.

NEVER will I ever do such a thing.

Its alright, We know how this stuff works, You post your email on some site and a crawler gets it, or you register with a big name ISP and they sell your email to people, It happens
