no disk drives do not go into PCI slots. they are connected to the MOBO through cables. HDD(hard drives) can either beconnected by a IDE cord or for better performance by a SATA cord. CD/DVD drives are usally by IDE cords. there are some that use SATA cords but they are expensive.

the 650 is a newer model then the 560 thats y it costs more. i would go with the first one.

this may sound mean but i really think you should find a cheap $50 computer at a garage sale and take it apart to see how everything is connected before you start to build a computer. i think you need to do a lot more research into how computers are built before you you attemped to build one. try and find some old threads about building computers here and read them then anything you don't understand come back here and ask about.

No dual channel is a different thing than ddr2. ddr2 is just an improved version of the ddr memory. Dual channel is two memory sticks working together.

And no that memory will not work with that mobo.
says this on the mobo: "You can install DDR2 PC4200/3200 memory modules."
And the memory u wanted was
"Mushkin 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory"

So they don't match, either find a mobo that supports faster memory (PC5400 in this case) or then get PC4200 memory.

IM trying to look for a case that will fit with that i look at atx but im not sure that the mother boards port will fix? Do all ATX cases fit with mother boards or do i have to go thorught them 1 by 1

Usually, if the motherboard is ATX and if you buy a new case that supports ATX form factor, everything will fit.

Yes, the 915P chipset does support DDR2 533 or DDR2 400 as well as standard DDR 400 and DDR333 memory.

ATX is the standard motherboard to use. Buy an ATX motherboard and ATX case. Everything should fit.

Good old Prescott. They work, but yet it recieves so many criticism due to the heat it puts out.

On that motherboard, it says that it supports DDR2 PC4300, but your memory you picked out says it is a DDR2 PC4200. I would make sure you find a new memory that supports DDR2 PC4300 to be on the safe side. That motherboard utilizes the newer PCI-Express slots for your video card because of the chipset you picked out. See if you can find a good video cards that will fit in a PCI-e x16 slot. Or you can put in a 6800GT or if you can afford the new 7800GTX. But budget wise, go with a 6600GT.
