Is a P4 630 HT compatible with a 955 chipset?

I was researching motherboards and I found one with a 955 chipset that I liked. However, when looking at my chosen Processor compatible chipset online at extremetech.com it did not have the 955 chipset on the compatibility list. I am wondering if this means that the a 630 prescott is not compatible with a 955 chipset, or if the information given is just dated. Thanks for your help.

Can you give the link of the motherboard you were looking at?

The 955X chipset is compatible with all processors that support Socket LGA775.

Yeah, I think it would...DDR2 and PCI-E is a thing that Intel wouldn't leave out for the Prescott or Smithfield.
