Thank You.

VEry nice. I like your stlye... :D just like my computer... seriously. I don't know your budget, but you need ram, a video card (I don't know your mobo, it could be agp or pci ex.), a sound card (if you want good sound), and an OS.
Take this burner: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827131256
and dual it for cd - cd copying, or dvd to dvd, etc. THen here's the video, from agp to pci ex.
agp:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150102
and the pci ex.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130215
Again... I don't know your budget so if this isn't in your price range... let me know. Hoping that your mobo is dual channel... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820144513
that's ram for you. 1g is the best for today. 512mb and your comptuer is slow. 2gb and you don't use it that much and it's $$$$. Your OS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16837102151
or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16837102153
for pro. Nice case btw... hope this helps!

Don't bother getting a CD reader, just go out and buy a DVD-RW Dual Layer, like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827152047

Or if you're feeling extra flush in money terms, get this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827131362

But that is overkill, and a HUGE waste of money in my opinion, but each to their own. I only suggested it to show you the market on DVD-RWs.

The rest of your system looks good, but don't forget to get a floppy disk drive, and have you got an operating system (like Windows XP) because they can burn a hole in your pocket.

Well if you're going to get two DVD drives, why not just get two DVD Dual Layer burners? That way you can burn from DVD to DVD, and it won't cost you much more than just getting a DVD ROM.

2 dvd burners is thick ... dvd-roms are half the price and why would you need to burn 2 dvds at once?

You wouldn't, I'm talking about inserting a DVD into one DVD drive and writing it's contents onto a blank DVD in the other drive. But yeah, it comes down to how much money he has, and what he intends on doing with the PC.
