Graphics card problem help

i never herd of companies modifing there BIOS system. but the thing is there seems to be power to the card coz its fan spins so the AGP must be enabled or am i wrong?

the thing is the comp boot up normally before going into xp and the screen is fine when my monitor is plugged into the 9600. would the comp boot up anyway?

U have the new PSU? If not then I highly doubt that it's going to work with a 230W PSU.

I dont thin k the psu is the problem, i ran fx5700 (very similar card) on a 200wt psu and never had a problem!!! Is there a setting in youy bios to choose the vga boot mode and then maybe change that to external or summat!!

That's pretty weird. That must've been around 70-90% of the psu's max. BIOS usually has some settings that you can change. A bad psu supply can hurt your componenents and will not enable your computer to function properly. A 400W will supply a good need.
