How did you know you needed a new computer?

When I was tired of my 1.2 GHz Celeron Processor in my HP Pavilion. I was sick of the prepackaged BS so I built my own.

With my AMD Athlon 64 3200+ build, I couldn't be happier.

I got a new one when i heard about PCI-E and SLI.

when i started in grammer school as i knew there would be a fight over the comp so i saved up for 4 months and i got my dell 2400

Well as you guys know I'm not a gamer. So that was not the point of building a new one. What made me build a new one was when it was cheaper to buy ddr ram cards than to buy sdram. That did it for me.
