Recently, a friend sent me a video clip, it was hilarious, not porn, just very funny.
I haven't had my desktop long, & didn't realise it could access video clips, the laptop I had before, either couldn't show them, or they took so long to load, you could grow a beard waiting, so I went to a free video site, & from the huge list of video clips, picked one to d/load, but like on the laptop, it just sat there, loading, except it didn't.
I then noticed it had said to r/click, & pick "send to-----" to install.
Why do the clips not play straight away, without installing?

Basically, depending on the video type, the video has to download before it can be played. Different videos are set to play at different amounts of download, but the point is that if you right click and save as, you are basically just telling the computer to download it without playing it. If you don't see most videos soon after clicking them, your internet connection might not be very quick.

hey! same thing happens to me. Only sometimes it would play. Also, when i try to listen to the radio on www.z1035.com or any radio station website the media player never connects :(

Thanks for the info, I have narrowband, but will have a go, & try to d/load them, I'm use to n/band speed, sometimes it takes five minutes to get to see lengthy e-mails, especially those with pics of course, but I don't need broadband, being retired, & in no hurry!.
