need help with partitioning my Harddrive..

Hey..
Ok I'm so stupmed, I need to partition a 50gig space of my hardrive so I can install linux.. I know i probably don't need that much space for linux but I want linux to have that much space... anyways I can't figure out how to creat the partition.. can somebody help me out?
