Is this good for $49.99 (External HD question)?

Hey guys, this Hard Drive is on sale at CompUSA.com and I really have been looking for an external HD less than $50.

This is really the only one I've found.

I know it's on sale, but from the specs is there anything blatantly wrong with it?

Or is this a good deal for me?

its usb 2.0.... not that thats unknown or bad but for my tastes its to slow..... even for ipods i go firewire all the way lol any external storage i prefer firewire all the way

It's a good deal. And as already mentioned it only uses usb2.0, firewire is faster but usb2.0 is fine too.

there's nothing wrong with usb 2.0, it's not as fast as firewire, but if you want to use firewire you have to get a firewire card unless your motherboard already has firewire ports. most computers already have at least 4 usb ports, thats pretty much standard these days.
