computer kicks out at playing high memory games

i have a computer that kicks out of high memory games. i have 512 ram with a 2.8 processor. the computer works fine for everything else. do i need to increase my ram or is there some twinking i can do. my son has a computer with same inners and does just fine. makes me think there is something else i can do to help,thanks

Might be a bad stick of RAM or you have it in the wrong slot, try switching out the ram if you can and see if that works.

Well 512 is enough to play all of the current games without it crashing.

So it could be a faulty memory stick. U can try this by taking the memory out of ur son's computer and putting it in yours the try these games. If they work then it's a faulty memory stick.

Also does this happen in many games or just one? If it's just one try reinstalling the game.
