DVD+R problem. No problem with DVD+RW though.

Hi there!

I'm burning archive copies of my DVDs onto blank DVD disks.

I have a movie with a simple menu / chapter system. This burned perfectly onto Memorax 4x DVD+RW discs. This worked perfectly on playback through the PC and DVD player.

I tried burning onto Bulkpaq 8x DVD+R due to the fact I got way more of them and ran into problems. The video keeps freezing, especially later into the movie. When later parts are selected, they don't even play at all! This applies to both PC and DVD player. I have no idea why this is! My burning software (DVDFab) indicated no problems during burning.

I use a Sony 8x DVD+-RW drive.

Any ideas why this is occuring & how I can fix it?

yer burn at lower speeds it will burn better.

what sort of compreeion program you use ... i use clone dvd

Smatripper for ripping, and DVDFab for burning. I have another program for format conversion, can't remember the name though..
