upgrade for BF2

i have a hp pavilion a706n and i want to upgrade it to play BF
SPECS
AMD athlon xp 3000+
160GB hardrive
512 MB
**i only have 1 agp X4/X8 slot**
ANy thing else just got to hp.com and search (hp pavilion a706n)

Whats your budget?
Get at least another 512mb of memory and get a card like a GeForce 6800GT or maybe a Radeon x850 XT PE depending on how much you have to spend

Sounds like you're using onboard video then? If so, then no doubt - a video card!!!!!!

Any higher-end nVidia or ATi card would be great. If you're on a budget, a 9800 Pro would work good on that system.

If your budget is $300 then I would get that memory I posted and then get a eVGA GeForce 6800

Get at least a gig of RAM in there and you must use a separate graphics card with a high performance 3d accelerator on it like a 6600GT or a 6800 series card.

That's okay, no need to go over a gig anyway... Really doubt you'll use more than a gig, so it'd just be a waste of money.
