but im gonna put a gig of ram in and i was wondering if there was a better radeon out for that amount of money because the 128mb scares me i think i should go higher because this is just a pc for games like cs:s
and half life 2. also if theres anything else i should replace tell me but i want to stay around 800$

THat 9800 should do fine. I have an x800 128mb and it plays at the highest settings, as in resolution. If I go max on aa and ap I get some lag, but not much. You should be able to play just fine.
