There is nothing wrong with SP2. The errors occor because people don't update their drivers for the installed programs and things.

This has always been the problem and always will be the issues with installing SP2.

SP2 is extremely protective of the programs that are used and will not allow any old driver files to be installed or run after SP2 is installed. The best course of actions is to back up the software of OLDER programs and then uninstall them. Then install SP2 and reinstall the older programs. This will force the updated drivers to install over the old ones

I agree with Lurkswithin, i installed SP2 and had VERY littel problems but once i updates my drivers it ran fine.
