hi all, this is my first post.

im having a problem setting up a wireless router basically because my pc doesnt have an ethernet port. i built the pc myself a couple of years ago and neglected to put one in, typical!

I can connect an ethernet cable from my cable modem to the internet port on the router, however i cant connect an ethernet cable from one of the ports (labeled 1-4) to an ethernet port on my pc as the pc doesnt have an ethernet port.

I was thinking I could buy an USB Ethernet Adaptor like this one -

for my pc to solve the problem. Would I also need a driver for it to work? has anyone else had the same problem or any advice on how i may remedy it without having to buy the ethernet adaptor?

What kind of motherboard are you using? I find it hard to believe that it didn't come with an ethernet port on it if it's only a couple of years old. That has been pretty standard for a while. If it really doesn't then just buy one like ninja said. They are pretty cheap anyways.
