Its the eye then. The eye can last anywhere from 30 mins to a hour.

/me has had his fair share of hurricanes.

And the poeple in FL biggest problem is they build their houses cheaply. In guam where I lived all our houses were made out of conctere. If a hurricane hit you may have roof damage here and there if it was a bad one. Besides that houses rarely fell. Pesonnelly if I was to live in FL i'd have mine built out of concrete, or at least all bricks. Our friends down there did that. They live about amile from the beach. Well hurricane andrew knocked their house down. So they built the next house out of all concrete. And its a nice house too. Their biggest damage since then has been some minor roof damage. And they've been though quite a few since then.

Its not the eye! The storm buggered off ages ago and is somewhere in the sea now. If you had looked at it when I had posted it was pretty awsome
