Need a Driver for a DVD-Burner

Ok, i just bought a brand new DVD DL Burner. It is a Sone DVD +/- RW DL Burner (model- DRU-800A). If anyone can help me out with getting a driver for this, please do so... I tried to find a driver for it, and I just can not find anything... The cd that came with it doesnt even have it on there. So if anyone can help, I would appriciate it.

What OS are you running? You shouldn't need a driver for a burner, the software that came with your drive should be more than enough.

I am running XP Pro, but on my computer it is only reading it as a cdrw drive, im running my burner now as a slave and i have a dvd rom as my master, i dont know if that makes a diff.

Well if u need drivers go to the manufacturers site. If there are drivers they should be there. Also try google if u don't find them in the manufacturers site.

i tried both, and still cant come up with anything, and my computer wont detect the actual driver for this hardware. I dont know what to do.
