inboard sound card

i reformatted my pc and when i went to listen to musik i didnt hear nothing, so iwent to my control panel and it said it can not detect a device. i heard from a friend that i need to install it from my motherboard cd but i do not have it ANYMORE.

could someone please help me.

download some ac'97 drivers and you should be good
