Heatsink is giving me headache...PLZHelp!!!!!....

NO! None of you are understanding!!!!!! I had this problem. Its a feature of Athlon 64's called Cool N Quiet. It turns on the heatsink fan based on temperature of the cpu! You have to make sure its disabled in the BIOS. That way the CPU Fan will be on at all times the computer is!

Why would you want to turn it off, isn't that a good feature? Wouldn't you agree

No....because it waits until your CPU temp gets fairly high to my standards before it puts on the fan.

I just checked....cool and quiet is disabled already.....and my PSU is also new...and also my motherboard.....
